The Intel 5300 card is draft-n, as n still hasn’t been finalised so non draft products cannot exist. This should change sometime at the end of this year.

The spec shouldn’t change too much (companies/people hope), so at most a lot of the draft-n products should only need a firmware/software update to make them fully n compliant.

I would expect the 5300 to work fine with n routers and devices in the future, though nothing is certain.
