Grady sorry the 4965agn was in my samsung r700. I cant see why it wouldnt work in the nc10 samsung do not put a restriction on card like hp and other manufacturers do,
With regards to the aerial position it is true that the further you put the aerials the better, but on both my n upgrades i have done the same thing and still received excellent signal at 300mbps sync and range, the footprint of the unit is rater small so the aerail will never really be that far away from the existing, as i believe the black and white run up the side of the lcd.

With regards to opening the case its like anything patience and time. use a credit card to slide along the crease starting at the ethernet point and gently pull. the hinges are the trickeiest so take it easy and it will pop open .
