Well I decided to go ahead and fit a wireless n mini card to my NC10 as I was in the process of de-casing it in order to replace the monitor cable (flickering screen)(fixed). I fitted the new card (didn’t fit the third arial for the moment (although it was supplied with the card)) – on power-up, my Win7 Pro detected the new hardware and downloaded the driver – all OK (hardwire-connected to internet to allow this to take place). However, when I came to reboot and run in wireless mode there is no wireless connection showing up. The new card is present and enabled but simply not detecting and signals (appears to be switched off) – and yes I am in range of a strong wif signal
Any ideas?
