I recently fitted a 5300 (off Chinese ebay dude) and extra antenna from Oxfordtec and connected to the middle connector and I have to say that I’m a little bit dissapoiinted 🙁
I’ve only been testing it about a week or so with my Sky Sagem router – (not a great test I know) and results are bit bit iffy.
It could be down to the router position and my TV, the original card worked well when the router was behind the TV but this card seems to suffer – when in the same room it says it’s connected at 18Mbps !!!
The Sky router is behind the TV as my new TV has a LAN connection so I thought I’d plug it in (something to do with Freesat?) – but will move it to another point.
I was thinking of fitting a 5350 or something better – is there:?
Or has anyone else experienced poorer connections with the 5300?
