Just to update, I got my NC10 today (after staring at the box for two weeks waiting for my birthday) and swapped out the wifi card for the 5300 as planned, but I didn’t use that antenna after all. Once I got inside the NC10 it was evident that it was just too long to deal with. I’ll revisit that later if needed.
But I swapped the RAM, wifi card, hard drive, installed Windows 7…all in about 90 minutes. Sweet little netbook so far. Mrs. StunnedMonkey is already eyeing it up. I have the feeling we’ll be adopting a twin before long.
