I am thrilled I found this site.
I have tried the Acer Aspire One, the MSI which I really liked except for the balance issue and now the Samsung. The Samsung’s build quality is very nice but I am having fits with the Atheros and peer to peer / ac-hoc wireless connectivity.
On the basis of successful mods on the Acer using the Intel 4965, I purchased the 4965 and tried to install it. As mentioned by another member in a previous post, the card is not seen by XP. I installed the drivers, checked the bios and tried toggling the Fn and F9 with no luck. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling a few times and also tried a different 4965 card assuming the card was bad. Stil no luck.. I purchased the Sammy from Amazon here in the US.
Ring, if I understand you correctly, you did have success installing the 4965? I ordered the 5300 from Amazon hoping that it will work.
I am wondering if the system bios differences here in the states is causing the issue. Has anyone had success with the 5300 modification with a US NC10?
