I agree with Jonny, I don’t expect high quality audio from tiny netbook speakers, but the NC10’s speakers are adequate.
If I want to hear stuff at a higher quality, I use my Shure SE530 PTH headphones with my NC10 and it sounds as good as my iPod or Dell XPS laptop.
