Tried mclear suggestion, increasing the hardware acceleration does improve the qualify of the sound. There is a small buzzing that went away after the adjustment.

You can find the feature under Control Panel / Sounds and Audio Devices / Under volume tab select Advanced under Speaker Settings / Select Performance tax / Click on Restore Default.
