Photoshop CS3 warns on install that the resoluttion of the laptop is too low. Fine if you plug in an external monitor but it’s going to be quite tight around the photoshop environment working on 1024×600. Min recommendation is 1024×768 and even then it’s pushing it!

Will be ok to do a gentle image edit/photograph work perhaps or opening a file you’ve been given to check it works but to actually start a hefty design I doubt it very much.
