I can also confirm that sideways scrolling is not normally a problem. I think Ive come across only one site where I had to. And Ive been using the net a lot on my NC10!
FYI the trackpad has a sideways scroll “area” which can be used to scroll the window left and right – imagine how the mouse wheel works but horizontally.
So anyway, for the vast majority of browsing you won’t have a problem – it really is comfortable to use. My desktop monitor at work has the same horizontal resolution!
