jezWith regards to the zoom – yes you can use multi touch to zoom in and out on applications (the same as ctrl + mouse wheel i think?). As pointed out above this is where you use two fingers to pinch.
Ive not used it much but I have witnessed my browser text growing and shrinking so it does work!
