I received the email, clicked the link and the download for the game started automatically.

It appears that the link contains your email address, does you email address contain any unusual characters?
You don’t have redirects disabled in your web browser do you?

I haven’t tried installing it yet as I’m doing some work and I’ll have to reboot into Windows.

EDIT: Installed GTA in a virtual machine, and it works fine.
