As a gamer, it is my duty to post my successes.
Starcraft – installed and upgraded to latest version. No CD fix which is supported by Blizzard. Works very well.
WarCraft 3 – installed and patched to latest version. Latest patch has No CD fix in it. Add this to the shortcut for the game: ricght click short cut, go to properties… in “target, add this at the very end of the line: -opengl You can customeize the resolution so it works well with our widescreens. Works decent, but with many units on the screen will experience some slowdown. You can lower settings for faster framerate.
BattleZone II – installed and set resolution to native screen (1024 x 600) and it runs beautifully at 60 FPS with all settings maxed. This is a good game to get to see some pretty 3D. Game runs native with NO CD needed.
Call of Duty 1 – installed and fixed to run at native res.
Mod edit: Removed suggested source of No Cd software. Sorry!
