I was also stuck on the black or white question and, for me, it came down to usability. Since I expect to use my NC10 in low-light conditions (coaches, planes, bed), I found that I could read the white keyboard more easily than the black. (Also, it’s easier to see it on my sofa and it hopefully won’t get sat on!)
