How about Crumpler “The Beefy Pocket” – Holy Cow!?
[/quote1261918503]
The Holy Cow looks migraine-inducingly good, as it’s exactly the sort of bag I’d like. Unfortunately, it isn’t available Stateside; none of Crumpler’s netbook gear is. They even have a store in NYC, which I visited yesterday. You can have a photo of your manatee’s grandmother custom-embroidered onto a bag for a 15.4″ MacBook Pro, but nothing — not even a sleeve — is available for our Samsungs.
My favorite UK bag so far is the Ultimate with strap and leather detailing a few pages back. Sammynetbook members should create some sort of UK-to-US exchange network, since each side seems wistful about the other’s options. Personally, I’m game.
The closest thing I’ve found to the stylish bags in the UK is this pricey vintage-leather number from Waterfield, which I’m considering picking up whenever I reach my breaking point. I’ve had a few of their sleeves over the years and found them to be well thought out and exceptionally made. Best combination would be this and a vertical Waterfield sleeve for the NC10. As they say on Head-fi, sorry about your wallet.
