Here’s a thread for discussing bags, cases, hand-knitted covers and generally things to put your NC10 in.
I’m not really convinced by the slipcase my NC10 came with. Scratch proof, yes, but not exactly the best shock protection.
So I’ve splashed out on this neoprene slipcase:

At £3.70 including postage, it should be a bargain. I’ll update you when it arrives to let you know whether it fits snugly and is adequately shockproof.

did you have to pay customs duty or VAT or any other charges to ship this to the UK?
Thanks

Apologies for taking so long to get back to everyone. If I’d realised university involves so much work I would never have started.
Anyway, I didn’t have to pay customs duty or VAT on the case. I’m not sure what the customs situation is with imports from Hong Kong, but customs never charge duties for items valued at less than £10.
As for the case, it fits the NC10 fine, though perhaps not quite as snugly as some would want it to. There are no zips to scratch it, and it doesn’t add more than 15 grams to the netbook’s weight. It seems to provide more protection than the flimsy case that the NC10 came with, as the material is significantly more padded, but it isn’t rigid in any way, so if you’re travelling a lot and want to keep yours really safe, you might want to try something a little more heavy duty.
