i saw that one on ebay too, with a mobile phone style transformer at the plug.
i’m sure it will technically output the correct voltage, but does anyone know whether laptop bricks include current stabilizers or surge protectors so that a spike does not fry your machine?
are they usually big for a reason, or just being awkward? in past, i’ve burnt through a couple of laptop bricks while the laptop itself is still OK. I tend to have the laptop plugged into the mains constantly when i’m at home (though usually behind a surge bar).
