Slightly off topic, but Maplin do a 12v universal laptop adapter (12v input) that works just fine with the Sammy. Even has a compatible plug. It’s on offer at £19.99 in their sale, I’d say a pretty good bargain. Has 120w max output and is switchable to 19v. Don’t worry about the extra amperage – the Sammy will only draw what it needs. It’s a compact unit that you can keep in your glovebox for emergencies (like mine – I drove 110 miles then realised I’d left the charger at my last stop.. D’oh!
