Too long in my opinion. I concede I chose standard 3-4 days delivery but was hoping for an email today (2 working days) confirming despatch for delivery tomorrow. Perhaps I have got used to the likes of Dabs who usually despatch quickly if they have stock.
I emailed them early Friday about stock before I cancelled my order with Dabs.com.
Please can you confirm if you have stock to fulfill this order as I have an
identical order with Dabs.com who are still awaiting stock (5-7 days). If
you do have physical stock I will cancel my order with Dabs.com.
This was the reply:
Thank you for your email dated 21st November 2008. I understand that you
are enquiring about the delivery and stock of your purchase.
Our records indicate that your purchase was made online and the standard
delivery option was chosen, which can take 3-4 working days. We currently
do have stock for the Samsung NC10 netbook.
A confirmation email will be sent on the day that we dispatch your order,
which will contain the relevant parcel number, as well as a link to our
courier’s tracking site. The delivery should normally take place on the
next working day.
