Yeah they are usually all bad days though lol.
DHL were ok to me, came at midday and the arrival date from Dixons was vague at best which meant that if I had actually needed to be at work then it would have been a problem for signing.
I would imagine Dixons backlog is due to people ordering at PCWorld and Curry’s since it’s all Dixons Group who will be doing a mass order. I think I’m about right in saying that the delay is the time in which it takes a ship from China with a container load of Samsungs to arrive, in effect they’re selling before they even arrive at port, hence the backlog.
Samsung’s supply train is quite slow, perhaps due to demand but also due to their being quite fenickity about the quality and also there could be delays to samsung for things such as ram and HDD’s. You’ll get it eventually though, I’m sure it’ll be about 5 working days from your order (so a week inc. weekends).
